The Foundations purposes, in addition to sustain the Museum, are aimed primarily at assisting the elderly, women, children, and people in need with particular regard to the Bergamo area, also financing cultural initiatives to restore the local historical artistic heritage.
The projects, in the early years oriented only to the Bergamo area, are now characterised in four different thematic areas, both nationally and internationally:
CULTURE: support for the preservation of local artistic and historical heritage, and awareness works.
WORLD: supporting local entities in developing countries that protect health and education internationally.
SUPPORT: support for national agencies and associations that provide assistance and care to people in need.
IN HOUSE: activities and initiatives managed directly and addressed to special situations of need at the local level.
