This section sets out how the site is managed with regard to the processing of personal data of users who consult it. The information is provided only for the website www.fondazionepollistoppani.it and not also for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links. The Data Controller is the Vittorio Polli and Anna Maria Stoppani Foundation with registered office in Bergamo, Via San Giacomo, 9 – 24129 (BG).

Processing

Processing related to the web services of this site is handled only by technical personnel of the service in charge of processing. No data from the web service is communicated or disseminated.

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation and only for the duration of the connection, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this eventuality, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

Right of Access

You may obtain from the Foundation confirmation as to whether or not any processing of your Personal Data is taking place and, if so, obtain access to the Personal Data and the information provided for in Article 15 of the Regulations, including, but not limited to: the purposes of the processing, the categories of Personal Data processed etc…

If Personal Data is transferred to a third country or international organization, you have the right to be informed of the existence of adequate safeguards relating to the transfer. If requested, the Foundation may provide you with a copy of the Personal Data being processed. For any additional copies, the Foundation may charge you a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. If the request in question is made by electronic means, and unless otherwise specified, the information will be provided to you by the Foundation in a commonly used electronic format.

Right of Rectification

You may obtain from the Foundation the rectification of your Personal Data that is inaccurate as well as, taking into account the purposes of the processing, the integration of the same, if it is incomplete, by providing a supplementary statement.

Right to cancellation

You may obtain from the Data Controller the erasure of your Personal Data if any of the grounds provided for in Article 17 of the Regulations exist, including, but not limited to, if the Personal Data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed or if the consent on which the processing of your Personal Data is based has been withdrawn by you and there is no other legal basis for the processing. We inform you that the Foundation may not proceed to the deletion of your Personal Data: if their processing is necessary, for example, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, for the establishment, exercise or defense of a right in court.

Right to limitation of processing

You may obtain the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data if one of the cases provided for in Article 18 of the Regulations occurs, including, for example: in the face of your dispute as to the accuracy of your Personal Data being processed or if your Personal Data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of a right in court, although the Foundation no longer needs it for the purposes of processing.

Right to data portability

Where the processing of your Personal Data is based on consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures and the processing is carried out by automated means, you may:
– request to receive your Personal Data provided by you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (example: computer and/or tablet);
– transmit your received Personal Data to another Data Controller without hindrance from the Foundation.
You may also request that your Personal Data be transmitted by the Foundation directly to another Data Controller designated by you, if this is technically feasible for the Foundation. In this case, it will be your responsibility to provide us with all the exact details of the new data controller to whom you intend to transfer your Personal Data and to provide us with appropriate written authorization.

Right to object

You may object at any time to the processing of your Personal Data if the processing is carried out for the performance of an activity in the public interest or in pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller (including profiling activity). Should you decide to exercise the right of objection described herein, the Foundation will refrain from further processing your Personal Data, unless there are legitimate grounds for processing (grounds overriding the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject), or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense in court of a right.

Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority

Without prejudice to your right of recourse in any other administrative or jurisdictional forum, if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data by the Data Controller takes place in violation of the Regulations and/or applicable legislation, you may lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.

Platform
